Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 program helps ensure that the legacy of the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship extends long past the gold medal game and will support programs in your community on and off the ice for years to come.
Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 program will benefit organizations that work towards greater safety and inclusiveness in and around hockey, including but not limited to diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, and women’s & girls’ hockey programming.
The net proceeds from your purchase go to initiatives in your province, ensuring that you are directly contributing to meaningful change close to home.
With draws taking place throughout the tournament, you can contribute to the legacy that Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 will have in your province and support important initiatives taking place that help provide a safe and welcoming environment for all participants on and off the ice.
Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 draws will go towards the following initiatives in each participating province.
Alberta: Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 draws in Alberta will be invested directly into grassroots initiatives in the province and increase the capacity of Hockey Alberta members to deliver a positive experience for all participants at the local level.
New Brunswick: Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 will be used for the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion programs within the New Brunswick Association, as well as towards improvements in education and development.
Nova Scotia: Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 draws will be used to fund grow the game programs for associations or groups in Nova Scotia that target underrepresented Populations such as women and girls, neuro diverse athletes, Para athletes and more.
Ontario: Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 draws in Ontario will be able to benefit a number of key initiatives, including support to families demonstrating financial need for hockey registration, and funding for equipment for players and families.
